Man, I thought this meeting was going to end early, but nooo. I need to go to the bathroom and my stomach is growling.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I have to tell a adjunct faculty member who is currently enjoying special privileges that one of those is being taken away (after 10 years). He has to move out of the office he's had (and he's not getting another one). Vacate? Relinquish? GTFO? what's the least insulting word I could use here? Basically, there's no reason for this except the Dean doesn't want him there, so I can't tell him why, just that he's got to go.
Is someone higher up the ladder taking the office instead, or will it just sit empty?
"Facilities is repurposing your office"
msbelle, I'd be very very confused by the IRS thing. Oy.
It is just going to sit empty.
That seems really petty. But I'd go with what sarameg said.

Totally petty.
Oh man.
Wow, Scrappy, that is awkward.
That seems really petty.
No argument here. I still need a "get out" word though, even if I say "facilities is repurposing your office, and you have to be out by the end of the current semester. . ."
