Because books.

The snow we were supposed to get never showed up, thank god. I still can't wake up, though.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We were supposed to get an inch of snow last night, but we got maybe a third of an inch? Anyway, this should probably be the last snow of the season. The season of Spring, by the way.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We were supposed to get snow last night, too, but didn't get any. They say there's still a 50% chance of snow before 5 p.m., totaling about 1/2 an inch. Bah. Any snow is bad.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

They are still predicting rain today. I hope they are right.

Virgin America is having a sale. Does anyone want to go to Cancun? Or maybe I can visit the DC and Baltimore folks.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Our spring blizzard has been downgraded to the possibility of 1" of wet slush.

Naturally this is happening the same day my boss is flying in from LA, because weather hates her.

Punishingly Intricate

It's snow showering/flurrying here now, Amy, so it's possible you'll still get some later (the way the weather normally heads).

Because books.

Ugh. NO SNOW.

Or maybe I can visit the DC and Baltimore folks.

Sits in Philly and cries.

hip deep in pie

We are preparing for snowpocalypse, snowmageddon, the storm of storms. My boss just told me I can "work from home" tomorrow, since we never cancel. I will probably use a vacation day because, fuck work.

ION, I am back at work after 10 days off and I am not happy to be here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We are preparing for snowpocalypse, snowmageddon, the storm of storms.

Oh yeah, you are that much further east from here -- I just read a thing saying the Ginormous Storm would have to veer 200 miles west from what they expect to really hit us. Good luck with that.
