Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay Steph!

Commiserating ughs for msbelle AND flea

Also, flea I share your AUGGGH! Lice again! moment. My whole household has it this time. Such a dud. The only bright spot in any of it is that we are so uber prepared for lice that I had kids treated and ready for school ON TIME and now Cody and I are both treated as well, and new Rx is called into the doctor's office. Beds are stripped. I just need to be done with this shit asap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I guess I'd better get home in time to watch it before I go back out again. My life is hard!

But not as hard as people with lice.....

information libertarian

Burrell, I am not even going to tell you how many lice mr. flea combed out of Dillo's hair last night before treating. It was stunning. I treated myself this morning.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I haven't watched The Good Wife for almost two years, and I'm spoiled, and shocked.

So My Nemesis at Former Employer is apparently losing her shit about me coming back. She has threatened to quit (which would be AWESOME) but probably won't because her daughter is in grad school. It's funny, because she assumes everyone else operates the way she does: sneaky, lying, misrepresenting the situation, hiding what she does so nobody knows how little she does, and undercutting her coworkers. But I don't operate that way. Which she doesn't get.

Entertainingly, because my role in this new gig will be as a support person, not driving my own projects, not a program manager, I won't need anything from her. She, in fact, will need things from me. Heh.

Oh, and I'm totally bringing pumpkin bread into the office my first day back. (My Nemesis was heard to reject my pumpkin bread once because I made it. Heh.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oooh, interesting about the Nemesis, 'suela. People are so weird.

Because books.

She, in fact, will need things from me. Heh.

NICE!

Our wings are not tired.

Oh my sympathies on the lice. We miraculously only had them once, and that was quite enough. Evil.

Congrats Steph!!

I have never watched Good Wife. Among other things. I will have plenty to watch when I retire, right? I actually always thought that if I got sick I could catch up on a bunch of reading and tv series and so forth. I was sincerely disappointed that I ended up being too weak and out of sorts to focus or stay awake if I tried it. That was a nasty surprise.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Haha, I was wondering about if you'd have contact with Nemesis or not but didn't dare ask.

I would bring it at least once a week!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Also spoiled for Good Wife. And the DH has a meeting tonight and so I can't watch it until tomorrow.
