After a fitful morning (woke up too early, fell back into a restless sleep, cat knocked the mostly-empty food tub off the shelf from 7' up, other cat knocked the radio off, Tutu has an infectious laugh) I finally rallied upright and made coffee and now a little motley cat with a penchant for knocking things off high shelves just curled up in my lap and I really need to start cleaning (like all the catfood they didn't hoover up) but lapcat.

Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Catlap is a serious condition. We should have an awareness day.
I need to shower and head out to church (I wouldn't, but the young adult group is meeting after, so). Sadly, it is only getting up to 70, and it's windy, so I'm not sure I can/should wear my new dress. (Yes, I know, some of you all have snow. There's a reason my friend from MN is coming here for Spring Break)
So far, all tests are inconclusive, and my ultrasound isn't scheduled until Tuesday -- though, since I'm going to see someone who is at that facility this afternoon (they just added me to the queue) perhaps they'll move that up. At least we know that my white counts are OK and so on, which cuts out a bunch of dreadful possibilities.
Good luck, Theo.
I have showered and done laundry and been to the supermarket and drug store! (Not in that order.) But now I'm going to sit for a bit before doing All The Cooking, -t style.
Fucking snow.
Grrr.
Baby shower today! It's mostly gay men without kids, so maybe not so much about the advice-giving, but it's gonna be CLASSY.
Fun! And probably no candy bars in diapers?
Sounds fun, bon! Good way to avoid labor horror stories.
One more cup of coffee and I seriously need to get going on the yardwork. I'll loan you my Cook All the Things mojo while I'm doing that, Jesse.
Stay warm, snowed on peoples!
"I would...but I've been catted" is an acceptable excuse for not doing whatever at my house. Most of the time, anyway.
Because neither one of us can think what they can do to fix it other than rip everything out....
Aieeeee.
Today we have to pick out a sink and a terlet and decide for real what side of the bathroom the sink will go on and then where the lights will go in relation to it. Probably some other stuff. Our friend doing the work claims that it will be a mostly working bathroom by the time Bob gets back from Chicago on Thursday but I find that hard to believe. It's all slats and subfloor and complicated things that have to happen to the plumbing right now! Fortunately our friend is good at figuring complicated things out!
