Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The whole internet is slow for me, so I can't really tell.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

AND my jackass company goes for a tri-fecta. HR does not keep it confidential that I sent that email. So I just got an ass-chewing from not quite yet old boss.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

HAH-hah.

I'm sitting at the desk in what is technically the second bedroom but in practice is the dog's room. So naturally she decamped to go sleep on the bed in the living room that she never uses.

But now the cleaning lady is here so there has been a forced retreat back into the safety of usual room. Foiled! You have to sit near me while I do stuff, ha ha.

Because books.

Does anyone have a good template for invoicing by hour? I'm being paid separately to develop the outline for the thing I'll be writing, and I'm not sure what it should look like.

No, I am not going to swap computers and set up the new one with 10 minutes warning at noon on a friday.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Both Word and Excel have pretty good invoice templates. Excel's probably better for hourly work because it will do the calculations for you automatically.

Because books.

Thanks, Jessica.

Our wings are not tired.

I"m having my 4th cup of coffee of the day.

I ended up dropping coffee completely. I may have it again at some point. I was drinking an entire 12 cup pot before leaving the house for the office, then drinking probably a half pot at the office. I blame it on the big mugs.

I stopped drinking it after noon a while ago, but still was managing to consume way too much. I seem to have a moderation issue.

Insano week here. Really need to get things under control. Toooo much to do.

Ugh, copy and paste failure! I hate it when I do that. At least it wasn't anything incriminating, but come on, self. Link checks are for always.

HR does not keep it confidential that I sent that email.

What the hell?!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh msbelle. I'm going out on a limb and saying it's not just transitions that bedevil your company, they don't really do communication well, period. It's got to be maddening.
