Ooh, exciting!
And a different kind of exciting for msbelle - that sounds mysterious and interesting, your boss disappearing and no information forthcoming about it...
The batteries for my heart rate monitor should arrive today! I am unreasonably excited about getting the whole system working.
Sounds like he was asked to leave his position pretty quickly. Maybe others have caught on to him being a giant dickhead.
Haiti! Jesse is the world traveler these days.
boston is very very lucky
Ugh msbelle, your wprk! In both little ways and big ways they so often get it wrong. I'm a bit boggled that they'd leave you and others bossless without any clue of who's replacing him, and when he/she is coming on board.

Yes indeed!
Today is the last day of my break and I haven't gotten any of my own writing done. Feels like a fail to me. le sigh. Well at least I've managed to schedule a haircut and mom/kid play date for the afternoon.
NO official word until next week. "CHANGES ARE NOT FINALIZED" - capitalization mine.
They have not even sent a memo that he is gone. I only know because he told me (and he packed up his office).
This company really does not do transitions well.
Haiti! Very exciting, Jesse.
I forgot my phone at home. DOH.

If You're Going to Buy a Chromebook, Today's the Day to Do It
If you're like me, you've been thinking of picking up a Chromebook as a backup laptop for awhile, but $200-$300 is just a little more than you want to spend. If that's the case for you, then today's the time to strike, with Amazon offering a refurb of one of the best models out there for only $150.
I"m having my 4th cup of coffee of the day. This seems like a bad idea, but also necessary...
Ooh, chromebook, that sound shiny...
Tim is holding out for a Chromebox (so he can use a big monitor), but $150 is a damn good deal for a Chromebook. I'll have to mention this to him.
I managed to get up this morning with enough time to shower and make it to the office for a meditation session. Go me.

Oh, nice. I've been thinking about getting one for my dad, although I don't know if I'm ready to coach him through using it AND helping my mom deal with the new desktop she ordered. I got a call from her last weekend that was earlier than normal, which made me worry until I realized she just needed computer advice.
