All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

This is still one of my faves. [link]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hee.

I have a doctor's appointment this morning, which isn't the most fun, but I have enjoyed sleeping in a little, getting a couple of things done around the house, and now an episode of FNL. Nice morning!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Back at the dentist to get the permanent crown. Too early to be facing the dentist.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That does sound like a nice morning.(ETA: Jesse's, not Suzi's. Sorry, Suzi)

Mmm, neocolonialism soup sounds good. Maybe for dinner.

On the one hand, I'm sure it's helpful for a hotel to have blackout curtains. On the other hand, that meant it was still pitch black in here when my alarm went off. Boo.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'd be jealous of Scrappy but at least I know I'll get to Book of Mormon soon. woot!

OMG you guys, my shiner has developed from wee to epic! I forgot that bruises get worse before they get better. Luckily no one noticed yesterday--or at least no one mentioned it--so I must have done an OK job with the make-up.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I worked from home yesterday and since nobody gave me another project right away, I'm going to "work from home" -- i.e., go for a long run in the hills with the zombies -- this morning. Then if I still don't have any work, I'll run some errands and visit Dad.

I like the part of being unemployed where I get to sleep in, cook, get lots of exercise, and not worry about being unemployed...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Today's conference call/meeting ended abruptly when the moderator disconnected. She didn't say anything, just hung up. We all sat around going, is it over? and when she didn't come back, the software disconnected all of us. I suspect she disconnected accidentally and then couldn't get back on. But whatever, short meeting!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got a solar energy assessment on my house, and found out that my roof isn't up to the standard they need without a lot of remediation. Also some issues with water damage up there that the nice Solar Adviser pointed out. He was really nice.

(Isn't that the most 21st-Century job title ever?)
