Africa, Jesse? How thrilling!
flea, I like that house--especially the porches, and the kitchen. It looks well-kept, and nicely staged without being pretentious. I love the upstairs playroom in the converted attic.
I'm working from home today, which means it will be even HARDER to concentrate on this deadly dull stuff I'm doing. I would be just as happy not to be working, frankly, since I now have a job starting in 2 weeks. But I said I would help these folks out, and I hate to leave them in the lurch now. Even though it's SO BORING.
Zen, Lesotho, which seems gorgeous.
Yikes, you guys! Burrell, ow! Amy, yuck. msbelle, ugh.
That house looks move-in ready. Super cute.
Africa! Exciting.
My boss cracks me up. I had told him my vacation dates. He is even going to be out some of the same dates. He contacted me today, apologizing for interrupting my vacation, and was asking about some work stuff. Dude, I'm working. No worries.
I have hit max on dealing with unpacking. My bedroom and bathroom are functional, though I still have a few boxed I haven't opened yet. The kitchen is unboxed and mostly put away. The living room boxes haven't been touched beyond getting the electronics set-up. CJ's stuff is in his wing (seriously, his room and bathroom are pretty much separate from the rest of the apartment. His unpacking is pathetic.
I think the rest is going to need to wait until we return. I need to switch gears and start preping for vacation. Wheeeee!

Envy. I've always wanted to go to Africa.
Oh Jesse, how cool! I hope you get to go.

I really love the kitchen. flea, I know where that street is in relation to the highway (and that new emergency care center) -- is that far enough away for you? That said, I love Oakley.
My niece's SO has a three-day interview, starting today, for a tenure-track position at the University of Georgia. I was astonished when he told me, because he only has a Master's, but the field is so new, nobody has a PhD. Man, I hope he gets it. This position would be amazingly good for both him and my niece.
Teppy, this house is at the way other end of that street from the urgent care - literally 6 houses off the square just where Dewey's Pizza is. Through traffic is something I wonder about, though.
Oh, that's way better! For some reason I think of Markbreit as being that 2-block stretch that dumps into 71. But I suspect that end sees its fair share of through traffic, especially since it's so close to the square.
