Ply has suddenly decided that she likes sleeping in my armpit with her head on my shoulder. It is adorable and eventually uncomfortable. When I moved she took off back to the end of the bed and it took me a while to coax her back up. I think she's quite happy with me no longer kicking her as I toss and turn, with the added bonus of scritchies within easy reach. Only took her a decade to remember this (as a kitten she used to sleep in the curve of my neck, but she was too tiny and I kept rolling on top of her).
Drawback: it's hard to sleep with her purring right in my face.
Still, adorable.
Bills are paid! That was relatively painless (emotionally, actual money going out was kind of a lot as I forgot that the bill for work I had done on the car in January was coming due).
I think I am washing dishes a little faster than I am generating more dishes that need to be washed. It's hard to tell for sure.
Huge, huge thanks to msbelle and sarameg for their help this weekend. And sara's right: I don't feel like I'm all that packed. In fact, I'm still slightly shellshocked and overwhelemed.
I also had an attack of the naps. From 11-3. Looks like I will be awake late into the night.
Kat, I'm so glad you persisted and got treatment. Many healing vibes to you.
I am home! it is sleeting and getting messy on the roads.
Packing was fun and yes, quite a lot got done, but everything is now unsettled and a mess, so understandably the feeling of not all that packed.
FTR, I no longer believe that...

...is at all likely. But I've got salad made (roasted beet and hard boiled eggs per the recipe, plus blue cheese because what's a salad without cheese? And now it's as patriotic as the 1812 Overture on July 4th) and a beef and mushroom concoction and the waffle iron is ready to be used, so I am getting somewhere even if that somewhere is nowhere near a clean kitchen.
Oscar red carpet!!! starting.
online. I am getting a vh1.com feed and an ap feed
