The dojo is closed for the day. I have a friend coming over in the morning to help so if I don't figure something out before then, I can ask her.
The spare room is now organized and everything in there is furniture, packed boxes, and packing materials. Everything that was left in there to pack is now in the living room. Well, there area couple of things I can't reach.
Well, that sounds very accomplished!
My sister gave me some margairita mixers as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. When I picked up vodka for other things, I picked up some tequila to try some of them. They're HFCS fake flavor bombs, but within that context, fairly tasty. I may be underestimating my relationship to tequila. Oh well. I have a cat on my lap and Bigfoot stuff on tv, so whatevs. Guy testifying about Bigfoot while wearing an alien abduction t-shirt is not helping his credibility.
Go Suzi, go! And good luck with the garage.
Yikes, Jess. I agree that at least they are equally inappropriate?
Good luck with all the house stuff, Strix.
Clearly it needs to rain on the weekend more often. So far today I have emptied the dishwasher, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned out my fridge, taken out garbage and recycling, gone to a pilates class, gone grocery shopping (anyone who knows me know that’s one of my least favorite tasks), put the groceries away, and made myself lunch. Next up—cleaning the living and dining room, doing some laundry, and putting away clean clothes. And then grading. That’s the one way in which I’m still slacking today.
Go Pix with the awesome productivity!
ETA: Must say, tequila is the best thing that ever happened to
Finding Bigfoot.
Renee is edging into hormones usually reserved for Rachel Maddow. Gotta love the whole competent rationalist thing.
This just in: Carbonara Deviled Duck Eggs are delish
Oh -t, those sound delish.
I made it over to Office Max and they had a guy fetch each thing I needed. Poor dear couldn't remember more than one thing at a time but I only needed three things. He got them in my car too. And I swear the weather dropped 10 degrees in the short time I was in there.
Anyway, when I got home I tucked on of the packing paper packages under one arm, pinning it against my crutch and slowly made my way to my front door. Kept hoping I'd see a neighbor to ask for help with the bubble wrap and other pack of paper. Oh well. I still feel accomplished.
Now I'm trying to get up the ummpphh to make something for dinner.
Man, Suzi, you are determined. I hope you have something easy in mind for dinner, because I want to you to rest after all that!
I am apparently all about putting pork products in deviled eggs now. Its working out well for me so far!
