I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, man, Jess, good luck with that.

3 lessons down one to go. This is totally doable, woohoo!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

They're BCCing you on private emails pertaining to their divorce? WTF; that is so 9th grade. How inappropriate!

Strength to you Jess. That sounds like a disaster in the making.

Strix, so glad you have family support.

Why is packing so taxing? I've been trying to bite off small bits each day but I only have two weeks before we move and Doing this alone is just...slow.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

SO inappropriate!! The reason I can't take sides is because they are BOTH acting like children.

It's pretty impressively bad behavior. I almost feel like them both doing it makes it better - not for you, obviously, but as a value judgment on them. If it was one of them, I would judge that one more harshly than I do the both of them combined. Which doesn't make sense, but I don't have to make sense when I'm morally judging people I don't know, now do I?

Caught up on my class, hooray! I might actually be able to manage a lesson in my lunch break on the days when they are released, that would be pretty painless. Not like I ever go out to lunch, anyway.

And I found clean clothes at the bottom of what I thought was a basket full of towels, which tempts me to downgrade the need to do laundry. I'll still do some, but it can wait until tomorrow and may only be a load or two.

Having an infomercial on with the sound turned off while I study is kind of making me want to buy a T-fal Opti-grill. I cannot emphasize enough my incredible lack of need for one. I have an indoor grill and a Weber on the patio and I just don't grill very often. And yet. It knows how thick my steak is, that's just neat.

Wow Kat--how long had your leg been hurting??

Six days. So....

Laundry, schmaundry, -t. But I may be an enabler.

Yikes again on the leg! Pain is not really a great problem reporting system, is it? So hard to interpret and so many false positives.

I may subscribe to your laundry, schmaundry philosophy tomorrow, we'll see how it goes. I'm feeling oppressed by the amount of recorded TV on my DVR right now...

And my packing roll has hit a rock. I'm out of paper/bubble wrap and I was going to start on kitchen stuff. Gonna take a break and then figure out non delicate stuff to work on.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm sorry about the shots, Kat, but honestly so glad that you are taking care of that DVT before there were any complications.

Normally I don't do a lot of walking, but with the rain DH has been doing a bunch a driving, so for the last couple days I've been walking to take care of errands. So lovely! I should walk more. And there was cooking baking yesterday. That's always lovely too and I always wonder why I don't do it more often.

But now I should shift to getting some writing done before my house fills up with people again.

Ok, large box of pictures packed, DVDs sorted and reshelved, maintenance cleared the clog in one of my sinks, got ma'amed to death in the process, and am trying to figure out how to buy more packing paper and bubble wrap. With the crutches I can't carry heavy or bulky things. Even if I get someone at the store to help me and get it in the car, I'm still stuck on how to get it in the house when I get home. My garage door opener isn't working (and stumped the maintenance guy). CJ is at his dads for the weekend.
