Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Holy Shit, Brenda. I can't even. Epically clueless is too small a word for that guy.
Such a profound error of judgment should remove him from ever having Amy client contact, ever again.
Because the client will assume he's as cavalier about their money in the business setting, as well.
Announcement: DST starts again a week from Sunday.
WHAT? Didn’t we just fall back? I think I’ve lost some months.
I thought that wasn't till April!
So...I wonder what that wine tasted like?
Sadly, according to Professor Google Pix is right. DST begins March 9th. Dammit.
I thought that wasn't till April!
Nope. Thanks to Shrub (or the congress at that point) it starts later in the fall and earlier in the...well...winter. It certainly isn't spring.
Hear that Spring? YOU HAVE ONE WEEK. GET HERE NOW.
I keep having dreams like that, when I open a small door in my house and discover there's a whole other, nicer wing to the place. Or the basement is furnished and I never knew.
I've totally had this dream, often enough that it's almost lucid by now. I know the layout of this imaginary extra wing to my apartment by heart. It's full of dusty furniture and there's a bathroom that looks exactly like this which is constantly flooding.
I've got a cityscape that keeps coming up in my dreams. It's mostly brick and cobblestone in a whole patchwork of architectural styles. The whole thing is on a long, long slope leading down to what I think is a river.
Anyhow, the place is a frequent setting for any number of otherwise unrelated dreams.
I'm apparently the weirdo who likes a later sunrise and a much later sunset, because that's when I get my living done.
