Thanks. I thought there might not be. I mean, we know a lot about Foundation grants because they are disclosed on tax forms (go team 990-PF), but individual giving can be as private as an individual wants, so how would anyone collect anything comprehensive!?

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Good luck, Amy! That would be great for you!
flea, your name popped up in the Northside weekly newsletter of events and stuff, for the workshop you did on Monday. (I know it was downtown, but the workshop still made it into the newsletter. The library puts a lot of stuff in there.) I was skimming through it and did a double-take. You're famous in Northside! (Well, okay, your workshop was listed in an email newsletter. But still!)

Yeah, exactly. Figuring out a person's giving capacity and inclination is a whole lot of guesswork with Lexis-Nexis and annual reports and miscellaneous googling, as far as I can tell.
The person I was working with just now came to see me as a follow-up to my Monday workshop! I have a feeling it is going to be very good for my work statistics. (I had 43 people there, which is very high for a program for me.) It was all people from neighborhood associations, so I was standing in front of them thinking, "I should poll these people to ask them where I should live! But then, they would all say their own neighborhoods."
Good luck, Amy!
All of my plans for today just got derailed, because I need to stay home and keep an eye on Vlad to make sure he didn't poison himself. He knocked an empty bottle of laundry detergent onto the floor, the lid shattered, and he carted one of the pieces of plastic off to play with. He didn't eat it, and I'm 99% sure he didn't ingest any of the residue that might have been on the lid, but better safe than sorry.
Vlad, there is a reason we call you and your sister the Kittens of Chaos, but you don't have to live up to the title!
I am falling asleep at my desk. I have a lot to still do, but everyone is gone. how bad to take a 20 min nap?
Oh, Vlad...

I'm making baked avocados and eggs, which will be topped with thinly shredded roast beef. I will report back on this after lunch.
