I got to my destination, went to Whole Foods, and suddenly my tummy revolted. Boo. Decided not to work out and just take some pepto (yay my varied pill case?) and chill. Though I'm wondering if it was because my nose is kinda running. Which had BETTER not signal I'm getting sick again. I'm drinking EmergenC and bought Ricola.

Draining sinuses are always rough on my digestion. I hope it's fleeting, meara.
Dana,
I'm sorry to hear it, but hope the PET scan comes out with little to no spread.
t, not sure what what to say about the epipen. Congratulations?
It makes me less afraid of the next surprise my body might throw at me, so sure, congratulations aren't out of place, I guess. Thank you.
Waking up so early is for the birds.
Man, my neighborhood. I opened the front curtains this morning to see 4 police cruisers in front of the house. As it turns out, they were here for the house across the street. So far we've seen them retrieve a long-barrel gun (can't tell what kind) from the trash cart in the neighbor's driveway, and they had some guy in handcuffs.
I love my neighborhood, but this is unfortunately all too common.
On my neighborhood classifieds listserv today, someone is looking for a "karate ghee" for their 5 year-old. Sounds kinda messy.
For real, though.
-t, I missed the genesis of the epipen -- what happened?
Okay, cops are all gone, guy in handcuffs got in a (non-cop) car with someone else and drove off. Really not sure what happened, but my best guess is maybe someone ran through the neighbor's yard and ditched their gun in the trash cart. Hmm.
Oh, Northside.
Jesse, I had a severe reaction last Monday, I don't know to what - itching and swelling over most of my body, and scarily my tongue and throat swelling. I am hoping yesterday's blood test will tell me what to try to avoid. My doctor told me to always carry Benadryl, the epipen is for my peace of mind and just in case.
Goodness, Tep! Do you have a police blotter you can check to see if you can figure out what happened? I'm always so curious about stuff like that - rarer in my neighborhood, but occasional.

I'm going to do a little digging to see. I would think yes, but I'm not sure.
