Oops.
Just got a good reminder that when you set up autoforward rules for email, you need to delete them when they are no longer relevant. Fortunately the email that got autoforwarded was nothing the forwardee shouldn't have seen. (And he now is jumping into a project that I wasn't going to put on him, so, good?)
So, there's a pizza/sub kind of place near my office that I've gotten lunch at a couple of times, but apparently their salads are the best, but I never want a salad for lunch in the winter. One time, I had noticed that they have chicken soup as well, and could tell from the description that it was the Greek avgolemono, which is my FAVORITE. I finally remembered to go get some, and YAY! Perfect sick lunch. (Actually, I think I mostly feel bad today because I took medicine. We'll see if this is true tomorrow.)
I took a 7:30am meeting from my hotel room this morning, and now I'm on my way down to Mountain View for more meetings. I'm already looking forward to a night in with Indian take out and TV.

Ooh, I hate when you're kind of sick, and the medicine side effects are just about as bad as the sickness, so you have to choose one...
Yeah, it's the cotton-filled head that I think is from the drugs. Better or worse than the mucus-filled head from the cold? TBD. Yesterday doesn't count, because I wasn't trying to think about anything yesterday.
You guys, Richard Simmons' Instagram feed is PURE GOLD. It has replaced searching #capybaras as my I-need-to-feel-better Instagram search. He is spectacularly fabulous.
So, 6+ hours after I took the medicine, it has totally worn off and I guess it is better? Man, it's a good thing I hardly ever get sick, because literally all I want to do is lie around and whine about it.
I think lying around and whining promotes healing, personally.

There was a study a while back that proved scientifically that swearing helps with pain - I see no reason not to extend that principle to whining as well.

That explains why I'm feeling so much better today, because I whined plenty yesterday.
