Fermented whatever is healthy, now, that must include cheese.

Amy,
I fucking hate grading more than almost anything. I would rather detail my own car than grade.
I think I need to eat some cheese before I move on to the next paper.
I have lost the will to take clean dishes out of the dishwasher and put them away. And I do not have sufficient cheese at hand to make it better. Alas.
I...um...woke up at like, noon?
I totes slept in today, then got up and walked down to the Marina to sightsee. Fort Mason, Aquatic Park, Hyde St Pier, took some pictures of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Ate a peanut butter and chocolate ganache cupcake in Ghirardelli Square. Then I wandered over to Union Street and accidentally spent a bunch of money on scarves and jewelry.
I'm taking a break now before I meet up with people for sushi.

Heh. We totally went to that same cupcake place.
Sounds like good times, shrift!
I am now watching Veronica Mars Season 1 (since so many people mentioned it as a good idea to rewatch before the movie comes out), and did some ironing and hanging up of clothing. Now i need to organize the clothes and decide which if any I should take to Goodwill.
We totally went to that same cupcake place.
It's conveniently situated for when you've been out sightseeing and are super tired and need to use a bathroom, and you don't even need to justify eating dessert because you have earned that cupcake, god damn it.
I spent about an hour outside weeding and took the dog for two walks around the block, but I also spent at least an hour napping on the couch, and a lot more than that slounging so I am glad I am getting out of the house for sushi with peeps
You feel better about the world in general, and your existence in particular, when you eat cheese.
I can vouch for this.
I'm drinking red wine right now AIFG.
Earlier I made some amazing empanadas - it's an old Cooking Light recipe that I've made several times, but today I actually had all afternoon to follow the directions for making the pastry dough (it's sort of croissant-ish, you're supposed to roll out out, fold it up, fridge 30 minutes, repeat 4 times) and WOW. So tender and flaky and awesome.
[edit - now that I think about it, it might be from Gourmet, not Cooking Light. I don't think a CL recipe would use 13 tbsp of butter]
