Hooray, the father and son who occasionally drop by and mow my lawn are here! I was not gonna get to that any time soon. It's not super lush out there, but it's still growing and needs cutting back.

Guys, I vacuumed my apartment for the first time in «mumble hand wave»!
I also managed to:
- File my taxes
- Pay my co-op insurance
- Send in my pledge to WFMU
- Order new checks
I also managed to get out of the apartment and take some pictures today!
Damn Tom, getting shit DONE today!! I'm impressed!
I...um...woke up at like, noon? And have had coffee, and two pieces of toast with nutella and sliced banana? And...uh...now it's almost 2pm?
Go Scola!
The lawn, she is mowed. And the clippings are in the yard waste bin which is at the curb ready for tomorrow's pick up. Nice.
I ran a 5K race this morning and then came home and napped. Now I’m making desultory efforts at grading papers.
I'm eating cheese and watching Thor while my toenails dry and I wrangle some PDFs.
I am sneezing, buying stock in Kleenex, and despising my stupid face.
Just to mention. Rake is not bad. Very unpleasant main character, but has some of the same appeal Buffalo Bill had. Seeing the extremely self-destructive and other-destructive main character somehow manage to survive all the messes he has gotten himself into them (survive only, cause he has not really left himself a way out) and occasionally take on people people who are even worse than he is and win. "Rake" is really an accurate title. All the characteristics of a 18th or 19th century rake brought forward to the 21st century. Gambler, petty scam artist, womanizer, customer for sex workers, scofflaw, heavily in debt to moneylender adventurer. (Also competent lawyer which an 18th century rake probably would not be.)He is able to get other people out of messes but only keeps getting himself in deeper. Also a selfish, shallow, vain, narcissistic user. As a balance the couple he is best friends with (Scarlett and Benny seem line decent people, as does his ex-wife.) And his clients are classic quirky lawyer show clients. So you are not spending 100% of your time with an unpleasant character.
Not the greatest show on TV, but not bad - though I suspect one could like it for a while than suddenly be totally over it one day.
Colin's pretty awesome as the Maytag guy.
I have an enormously painful cramp in my left calf. It's been there for 3-4 days and it makes it so I can't walk or sleep.
I have a 100 papers to grade. I'm not feeling it.
Low potassium, Kat? You could eat a banana.
Okay Kat and Pix, I will invoke both of you in my mind to keep me on task with my grading. I am way to fucking slow at grading. sigh.
