Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You know, you just don't see enough headlines about being stabbed with a samurai sword.

Mostly because I am not allowed to rule the world. If I were? More stabbings. With a variety of swords.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Interesting campaign promise, Cass. I'm not sure I'm gonna back you, but I'm willing to hear more.

Ginger, I hate that ad with the heat of a thousand suns. Every time it comes on and for whatever reason I can't fast forward or otherwise escape, I contemplate exactly why I hate it so much. I have concluded that it's mostly the narrator's voice, or tone of voice, maybe, and a little bit of a callback to my inexplicable hatred for the Gaiman "Make Good Art" speech.

We had a self-defense case where a samurai sword was fatally wielded against an intruder, over on the campus...not that long ago.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Isn't it ganked from Dead Poets' Society? (I mean, I know it's Whitman, but it sounds like Robin Williams, maybe slightly Autotuned.)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

A mentally ill young man here killed his grandmother with a samurai sword. It was particularly sad because his family and local law enforcement knew he could be violent, but couldn't get him the treatment he needed.

Because books.

I think it actually is Robin Williams. I sort of love it, but it's hitting me just right at the moment.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hells yes. And I'm pretty sure it is Robin Williams.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I knew a guy in high school who, along with another guy, snuck onto Penny Marshall's property dressed like ninjas and held her hostage briefly with their samurai swords. True fax.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Tep, I made gluten free, low glycemic muffins today and thought of you (and ita). I made them less healthy by topping them with almonds or chocolate chips or butterscotch chips. But they are yum.
