The winter storm is a pain in the ass, mostly in that the universe keeps making me get on the phone and call people to fix shit. But I'm trying to see it as a net positive. I get to enjoy today as a holiday, I have a little more time to finish off the fruit & veg in the refrigerator, and this hasn't ruined any of my fun plans with friends. I just have to wrangle some meetings and make expense report changes, which isn't the worst thing in the world.

I whacked about eight inches off the ends of my hair a week or two ago. H trimmed up the back for me (that was difficult. He worries. Dude, it's just hair, and I can't cut backwards). It's a chin-length bob, the front just long enough to pull back when I can't stand it. Don't mind hair on my neck, but hair on my face is crazy-making.

Well, I have paid my bills for the second half of the month, and, as usual, now I am super angry. At nothing in particular, just filled with rage. To my credit, I do pay my bills and in a timely fashion, but it would be nice if I could figure out how to do it so that it didn't piss me the fuck off.

Oh, right, I wanted to check on a work thing. Better do that before I completely forget.
