The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Oooh! Eiffel Tower does sound awesome!

I have returned from my outing. I picked up some tomato soup and a couple of baskets. The baskets will be used to hide the Pile of Modems and Routers that live in the corner. I am not a fan of visible electronics, so having those tidied away will make me happy.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

It is most likely a combo of illness , winter blahs , and an unproductive meeting at work.

I hope find a few things on the plus side helps. I find a day where I get a few annoying things done, a self indulgent yet healthy meal a glass of win and an engrossing movie or book and a good long sleep help the blahs. They don't exactly go away , but they diminish. Unless I am getting sick. then I just have to deal with that.

I hope tomorrow is better Anne.

I never really learned to do all my homework in high school. But somehow , I did my work in college. Maybe because I t matter ed more , or because no one cared in the short term? Not sure. But a zero in a class is not ok.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I thought it was totally worth the wait and the price.

Aw, Jesse.

So my neighbor offered me a small piece of good dark chocolate as I was on the way to the pool. And I swear I had a sugar crash 30 minutes into my swim. I haven't had a slog like that in a while. Slow, sure, but getting through by sheer will? Uhg.

I have to take Grace to UCLA for a sleep study tonight. The 405, one of the major freeways, is partially closed. I am supposed to be there at 8:30. DO NOT WANT any of this.

Man, I'm tired already.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Parenting just plain sucks sometimes. It really shouldn't be this exhausting considering the ages of my kids.

Been a pity party kind of night. So instead of worrying about the dishes, boxes to pack, packed boxed I can't move, and so much else, I'm working. The one thing I can do without needing someone else.

Because books.

Sometimes I think it gets more exhausting. The older they are, the more serious the mistakes they can make, you know?

Downton Abbey was, as usual, my cathartic crying moment of the weekend. Whoo.

Quite true. At least KCD and B back me up with the current crap. Not that they haven't before, but it is that reassurance that I'm not nuts.

Because books.

You're really not. And I'm glad they're supporting you.
