Damnit, looks like the Y will be closed tomorrow. If this storm ends up not warranting it, I'm gonna be pissed.

I'm going home tomorrow. I need to get up and pack.
Someone tell me to get up and pack.
Get up and pack! You don't have to do it neatly, you're going home! And you can smuggle the pup with you if you want...
sarameg is sneakysmart.
So far, the storm is a deepappointment. As in, not deep at all.
Surly, I'd be used to forecasts being overblown by now.
Go take a look at [link] , including Andy in the comments. We're on the leading edge of this. I've found credible analysis for storms from them (including 'this isn't absolute, this is dynamic, things change we can't foresee.') The heaviest is in the early morning, this is just the top edge.
Oh joy! Ys are now just closed until 8, reeval then.
Just give me 2 hours from in the door to out. All I ask.
Now I should get ready for bed, but the dog is sleeping next to me.
Sleep with the dog!
So Pumpkin wanted to go out. There's an inch on the deck. She raced around mine and lept over to Anna's to flee it. I heard skittering and she let out the most indignant, mournful meow and jumped back over and ran straight for the door. Let her in.
60 seconds later, she wants out again. I let her out. Runs around, looks at me pleadingly, saddest cry EVER, runs back for the door.
Yeah, honey. It's not gonna disappear soon. Sorry.
The federal government has already declared a snow day for tomorrow. Whee.
She STILL wants to go out! And races around looking for No Snow.
She's really indignant at the moment.
Loki at least takes one look and is all hellno. She's usually the smarter one.
