My parents just gave me an iPad Air to thank me for helping with my mother's recovery. I'm kind of speechless.

Wow! That's awesome!
Note: The name is a lie - it does not float, it is not lighter than air. Just FYI.
Damnit, I was planning to use it as a magic carpet.
Gods, I did not need this. I get home, open the car door, hear a hissing noise, panic, realize my left front tire is slowly deflating. I didn't run over anything, take any curves hard, nothing like that. Probably just an old tire. I don't know if the spare has air in it. He's out there now wrestling with it, thankfully our faux-son immediately said "I'm coming over" when I called him.
Nice, Dana!
Consuela...yeah. Good luck.
Connie, glad you have peoples to help out.
I don't want the storm coming Weds night. Really, really do not want. Hoping the Y stays open long enough Thursday, but not betting on it. Bah.
Argh, Connie!
Thanks for the birthday happies, nice people!
Class was good, I will probably hurt tomorrow. Now picking up sushi to go, hooray! Post gym sushi is the best.
Sashimi salad will have to be tomorrow's dinner (I feel like bringing in sashimi for lunch would be oppressive to my co-workers), I definitely ordered too much. But all yum!
Oh, the other thing I did today was register for a 5K for the end of March. I think the terrain will be a bit hillier than I am used to (since I am used to very very flat) but I can walk however much I need to.
-t, happiest happies on your birthday.
oh consuela. I'm so sorry. This sounds extraordinarily stressful for all involved. Also, dad, listen to what the docs say.
Happy birthday, -t!
