Oh jeez! I've gotten a lot of collection calls for other people, but never cops at the door, thank goodness.
My brother and I shared a three-bedroom apartment when we were in college. During the year we were there we had three different roommates taking the third bedroom at various times. The cops came by twice, each time looking for a different third roommate (who had moved out by then).
so, my work motivation RAN AWAY after I completed a couple of tasks. WOE IS ME.
So who is on the market for a pet? because looking at petfinder seems to be about my speed today.

I absolutely cannot get a new dog (too many dogs in the family already), but I always follow msbelle's petfinder links anyway. (And Thunder is a pretty fella, but whyfor no papers? Color me confused.)
So Dad's progressed to the stage of complaining about the oral surgeon because he's in pain. SIGH.
But me, I have work this morning! Not interesting work, but hey, work all the same.

My parents should get another small dog, but they are stubborn.
Oh! There has been some softening on that front. "As long as it doesn't pee on the floor." Ever?? I figure if it's just occasional, how would she know.

Oh lord, definitely not a dog! Cats only, please. Of course, I now regret giving away all of my pet supplies before I moved! I guess it's safer to have clean-smelling stuff anyway....
