Simply lovely!
So, got home at 12:30 from the pool. Between then and 7:45, I was going non-stop. Tented the stairs, sanded for about 3 hrs, broke down the tenting and cleaned up the stairs, then cleaned the WHOLE DAMNED HOUSE, dyed my hair and ate dinner.
And then I went out and swept the snow off the walk and car.
I think I might hurt tomorrow. Had a nice long hot shower to wash the dye out and liberally applied icyhot, though I may break out the big guns: bengay.
Can't figure out why the cats are all asleep. Other than being royal pains in the ass when I was trying to hang the plastic (attacking me through it, going after the tape sealing it to a wall, pulling it all down in the process) THEY SLEPT ALL DAY because they were avoiding the power tools.
So the SO just sent me a singing telegram for Valentine's while he was away on tour!
That is so fantastic. My heart just did that thing the Grinch's heart does when it grows 3 sizes.
I KNOW! He's so awesome. He is literally the best. I defy anyone to accuse me of misusing that term!
Anyone who would try is a fool.
He is straight up awesome and almost certainly the best, Liese.
awww, Liese!!! He really is the best!!!
That is so sweet liese!
My university self insures, but we are also the biggest care provider in the area, so I imagine that it is cheaper to just transfer money internally to doctors who work for them. My mom worked for them in the 60s, though, and instead of insurance, they just had a whole department that was just for medical care for employees, which is kind of neat. If you called in dick, though, they made you go to the doctor when you came back.
That's awesome, liese! He's a good egg.
So, I've been making valentines for the kids to give -- one with a rubber bouncy ball and the other with bubbles. I gave myself a hot glue burn. It's blistered beneath the skin. When will I learn to just buy a box of valentines instead?
Kat, I've known you long enough....never.
