If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No house for me. They had multiple bids and accepted another offer this morning. I'm not surprised, but pretty bummed about it. It would have been really neat.

OTOH, I also today booked a trip to Ecuador (with shrift!) and paid off my car. So, could be worse.

Yeah, I'll have to go deal with having a new credit card number, but that's way more manageable than replacing everything. I'll go to the bank tomorrow morning to get a temp card so I can finish booking my trip to Ecuador with Brenda.

Oh wow! Yay lady finding wallet! Too bad she didn't find it a bit earlier, but still, that's gotta be so much easier.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And my wallet has been found. I called the very nice woman who found it and asked her to use the cash inside to mail it to me since my flight boards in 30 minutes.

Wow -- that's amazing!

Ah well.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh thank goodness, shrift.

I'm sorry, brenda. But serious congrats on paying off your car, that's great!

What are people doing this weekend? I realized I have a 3-day weekend, because I asked for Monday off as my trade for next Saturday as it was a school in-service day, but now the kids have school since we've had so many closures!

Tonight: Olympics and de-lousing shampoo! Woot!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I want to be done with work so bad! And yet, if a higher-up gets back to me (which I hope he does), I will have to snap into action. I don't want to snap into action.

In good news, I have a massage scheduled for tomorrow! I kind of love when I forget to mark it on my calendar, so it comes as a surprise when I get the reminder email. I also have to do better snow/ice removal around the house to get ready for new snow. But in general, no real plans.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tomorrow I'll buy a snow shovel and dig my car out.

Driver's License renewed! and they didn't even want my wedding certificate, because that's only if the name on the license that's being renewed is different from what you want to use. Which is not explained anywhere on the website. But hey, if I ever need it, I haveit.
