My semi-annual tax bill was due right when we were in the thick of it. So when the old mortgage closed, it hadn't paid it, but the new one didn't kick in soon enough to do it either. So when we closed out the escrow on the old, title company wrote the check from that. But that's $1500 I damned well want to deduct! If I've got to pay a ridic property tax, I want my credit for it!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

OMG Epaulets.

We have no 2 Hour Delays here. However, a local community county had a threat of gunman on campus so they locked them down and all of the campuses in the vicinity, including ours. Fun times.

But it has been raining. I LOVE THE RAIN.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Everything I needed from my refi was on the end of year tax form from the mortgage holder.

YAY RAIN.

The down side of the rain is that I am not inclined to run in it. OTOH, (spoiler-font for those squeamish about female biology) perimenopause has me bleeding like a stuck pig for the last three days, and lightly for the thirty days before that, so I'm not really feeling like I'm at 100%. Or even 65%, really.

Yeah, I think I'm just missing the one tax payment that no mortgage handled.

Also, I have a tax data hangover now. Seriously, I get this involved in a task to the exclusion of all else and it's like I'm emerging from a swamp.

Punishingly Intricate

I think people like having something concrete they can do to help.

This!

Man, today was just so discouraging. But I guess I should be thankful that I have a job that helps me pay for my accountant to do my taxes but that is just the kind of thing I would completely lose my shit about if I had to figure it out myself.

Ooof. Tax data hangovers blow. I'm sorry.

So there is crap I cannot stand going down at my pool. It's making it extremely hard to go and I'm tired. Tired. Tired.
