All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

How do we get the cheese?

Punishingly Intricate

This is the jacket I got when I was in Chicago in December:

[link]

It's not SUPER warm but it's roomy enough to wear a fleece underneath for the temperatures we've been having and then it's perfect weight. Plus kind of shockingly unbulky and flattering. I like it so much I even reviewed it on their site, which I never do.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well, going to the gym on the way home from work, doing a round of circuit training, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi is undeniably pleasant, but it sure eats up time.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

That jacket is way wicked cute, lisah.

Should I mention that today was apparently a record-setting warm January day in Sacramento? Probably not.

I am jealous of people who have reason to wear nice coats, though. I like coats.

Asymmetrical zipper!

I'm ok with the cold because I haven't had to be out in it a ton. And I have warm clothing. But I did have a winter urban tragedy today--I left my gloves on the metro. I don't care about the gloves so much as the awesome overglove things I also left. I've had them for years and they are super warm. I hope somebody who really needed them got them.

The status is NOT quo.

Where do we talk about Downton? Because I have been catching up and have Opinions.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Tennis: Li Na wins the Australian Open LI NA WOOOO! Ryan has twice come out of his bedroom because his family were cheering too loudly. I saw her first appearance in the Aus Open finals, back in 2011. She's really improved in her determination.

Tennis:

Every time Li Na talks after a match she has a go at her husband (and former coach). "He does a lot of jobs, fix my drinks, fix my racquets. Thanks a lot, you're a nice guy. And so lucky you found me."
