Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Was the father there when it happened?

Yes. They say they got lost, but you have to be really, really lost to bypass the fence. Also, one of the boys apparently thought sliding down a culvert would be fun and the other one followed him. I haven't heard any explanation about how they got that far off the trail. The trail always has quite a few people on it.

Ginger, the whole thing sounds like a good contender for the "Wouldn't It Be Cool"/Mistakes were made tag.

I just got an email that is leaving me jangly. I am feeling over it but I can't get over it. I need to stop reading emails.

Did you know one of Prince William's titles is: (wait for it) Baron Carrickfergus?

Is that the title he only uses in Scotland? I know Prince Charles has What-he's-called-in-Scotland title.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It may have taken almost three months, but I am counting this as a win!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Halfway decent person doesn't mean a good leader.

It really doesn't. But in my head I like to think I can simplify things. Sadly, reality fails to conform to this. Or reflect it at all.

Ouch, sara.

Halfway decent person doesn't mean a good leader.

I don't know that I would even go that far. I mean I think Obama is a great person outside of politics. But since he is in politics he has to be judged morally by what he does as a political leader as well as in his personal life. And when you think about the continued assasination program, the continued use of torture (solitary confinement) the NSA, the war on whistleblowers. Note by the way that these are all things the executive branch which he controls does. He could change any of them by giving appropriate orders. So I can't judge him a decent person. I mean normally decency (even halfway decency) is not something I expect from a person with great power. But I don't see how our Nobel Peace Prize winner-in-chief can be judged an exception to this.
