It's more a question of worrying that my arguments will end up coming out like a high-pitched squeal of "What is wrong with you people! Give me the money for my goddamn vacuum cleaner that your driver lost THIS IS WHY WE BOUGHT THE INSURANCE!"
Eh, that seems fine. Although try to squeal at the first person you talk to, and then get transferred to a higher-up, because then you've got it out of your system.

I remember solemnly swearing not to write Mr. Belvedere porn, but not the context that caused me to do so. Let's be real, though. In order for me to write it, I'd have to rewatch the show, and the fact that it's not streaming on Netflix is enough of a barrier to entry to stop that impulse in its tracks. My vengeance is too lazy.

Holy gawd, I think my fear of the icy road and bitter temps will be overcome by the need to go into the office tomorrow. Just to go into the office. I had such a hard time staying on task this afternoon. Only thing that saved me was meetings. I do not have the discipline for extended working from home.
I need to start bundling up to go to the pool. I really don't want to be outside in this, but unavoidable.
In interesting news, 4 houses down from me now has a sewer line blockage. Luckily, she also has an exterior cleanout. Asked her to mention to the CIty guys that there was one further up the street that was clearly on the City side last month. I have my suspicions. And hopes. Dear,unuttered, pleasepleaseplease hopes.

If I have something on DVD, I need to be near a DVD player! Which I am not around as much as I am a device that can stream video.
I'm trying to plan a multi-city work+fun trip out to California. Right now I think I may fly into San Jose to work out of our Mountain View office for a few days, and catch a shuttle up to San Francisco for about a week. Then I can hop on a flight to L.A. to go to Escapade and fly back to Chicago from there.
They should fly you to work in the Seattle office at some point, damn it.
