Don't become one of those sad poster people for Ice Cream Deficiency. You can overcome it!
I can! But that would entail putting on a bra. If I still want it tomorrow I'll walk downtown to the ice cream parlor and get exercise and a nutritional supplement. Because health!
Venison enchiladas also sound good.
My recommendation for the apple pie cake is to replace 1 cup of the oil with sour cream
Oh, I like that idea. It's absolutely delicious but it is very straightforward, so a little tang would be nice.
I was all set to make snickerdoodles until I realized I didn't have enough cinnamon. Now I'm bummed.
No apple pis cake, because I do not have a springform pan. Big pot of chili simmering on stove and improvised chili cheesy tater tot half casserole in the oven, though.
And everything else everyone is cooking sounds delicious. Even the snicker doodles that aren't to be.
Do you have pumpkin pie spice? I use that and call them oopsidoodles.
I don't make pumpkin pies, nor anything that would call for pumpkin pie spice.
I would consider replacing some of the cinnamon in the apple pie cake with five-spice, which adds a little bit of savory bite to it. And some fresh ginger, maybe.
Made it through Week 2 of training without being eaten by zombies!
Go, -t! Me, I keep getting eaten by zombies because at least half of the zombie chases hit when I'm on a hill, and it's all I can do just to keep moving, much less increase my speed. The Achievements section of the website is very disappointed in me. But when I'm on a flat, the chases are really good, even if they exhaust me.
I'm having a hard time getting my stamina & speed back, though. I wonder if I need to be taking iron or something.
Thanks, Consuela! Full disclosure - I'm doing the 5K training, and there haven't really been zombie chases yet, just shambling zoms in my general vicinity that I can evade as long as I don't actually stop. I'm just pleased that I haven't fallen too far behind, I should be able to get back on the M-W-F schedule I like next week.
