See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's rough on the co-worker, Jesse. So sad.

Maybe 40/week, no travel, mostly from home would leave you some time to look for something better? Also, money coming in is nice, as well as adding something to the resume.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All of that.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yeah, I expect so. It does sound pretty flexible, as well.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Plus the downside of a contract? Not permanent. The upside of a contract? Not permanent. You're not tying yourself into this job forever.

Trust my rage

I posted over in the business thread about trying to decide if I want to hire a new employee that would broaden the reach of my law firm and add a whole new direction. I'd love anyone's input/thoughts.

You know, for a variety of reasons I have given myself all of today to laze around and watch recorded TV. I'm starting to suspect that may not be enough time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just took a break from stripping wallpaper to shovel the 1-2 inches of snow and slush we got today. I did the whole two-house driveway and sidewalks by myself and feel like a goddamned hero. But I did literally zero shoveling the last time it snowed, so. Anyway, now I need an actual break.

I have learned that there is a magical time period with the stripping, a little while but not too long after I put on the solution. Too bad I'll probably only be great at finding that magical spot by the time I'm done. There's not actually that much paper to strip. The walls under are not great, but I think more or less OK. We'll see when I'm actually done.

Are you going to paint? I don't mean today, necessarily.

Why do I get so much satisfaction out of inventorying my pantry? Clearly not everyone does or there would be a much better selection of apps and so forth available to assist me.

Also, I still need to see Catching Fire. Not today, that would entail way too much getting dressed.
