Foot surgery. The goal is to get it done soon enough that I can be walking again by late March.
There is a LOT going on over the next 3 months and I just want to start nailing things down. I don't know when the surgery will be, I won't know what is happening with my lease renewal/move until early February, but there will probably be a move in March/April, and then it will be late March before I know if I got the promotion/raise I have been asking for.
She was kinda snippy which made me feel horrible for calling but she had said I'd hear from her yesterday.
That is ridiculous. You should not feel bad! She should provide better customer service!
they're going to open a cider-based place downtown.
Yay! I love cider, and I'm glad to see it's undergoing a kind of renaissance.
SuziQ, it seems like a scheduling person should be able to contact people on schedule to let them know where they are in the schedule. So she shouldn't have been snippy--more like apologetic, really. I hope you can get your surgery soon.

Oh, I'd heard about that but didn't realize it was his. Neato.
I'm frustrated with the hurry up and wait. Both with the surgery and the housing situation. The work stuff isn't stressful but I just want to know.
Timelies all!
Long weekend, yay.(Not that I have much planned, I just want more time to be lazy.)
Hey, I forgot to mention a star sighting we had at the grocery store. Stanley, from The Office, with his very cute younger boyfriend. J said, sorry to bother you but we really enjoy your work and he seemed quite tickled. Ralph's in Toluca Lake, Home of The Stars.
The Ralph's on the corner of Ventura and Vineland?
That's the one, Aims. Not our usual but we were coming home from Trader Joe's. Not a particularly impressive Ralph's, I gotta say.
No, it's not. I shopped there because it was convenient - we lived at Vineland and Riverside. Usually I got delivery from the Von's on Pass in Burbank.
Sigh.
