Because books.

Is there any high school math class that covers basic probability and statistics? And thanks, tommy.

Happy birthday msbelle! May pink cupcakes rain upon you! Well, not actually. That would be messy. May they drop themselves daintily on your plate.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Happy Nicest Day!

As usual, things explode when I take a day off (not literally. Literal explosions would probably be someone else's problem to clean up). The one that is actually my fault is mostly resolved...

I had statistics in a high school math class. Maybe algebra? I can't remember if I studied probability in high school.

My math courses were Algebra, Geometry, Precalc, AP Calc. I think I could have done AP Statistics but chose to take more science courses instead. Granted, I went to a nerd magnet school.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I know we did probablility and very rudimentary statistics, but I went to high school in NYS where we had math called Course One, Course Two and Course 3, with everything all mixed up in them. I think it was course 2.

Because books.

Now I remember a friend taking a statistics course in high school. Hmm. This is all for a pretty throwaway line in something I'm writing, so I'm not sure how much it matters, but thanks, all.

My math courses were algebra I, algebra II remedial, and I think that was it. I managed to get away with some completely bullshit math survey course freshman year of college -- we read Flatland and the annotated Alice in Wonderland, and didn't actually ever *do* a math problem, if I remember right. My math phobia was pretty hardcore.
