Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, Burrell, I am so sorry. Much good ~ma for your sis.

How does black market morphine compare?

Does not matter, because as I understand it morphine does almost nothing for ita !'s pain.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They shouldn't make illegal so competitive. Just sayin'.

ita !, you DO have an e-copy of The Princess Bride; you Lent it to me

Ha! If lending it had involved more physical motion, maybe I'd have remembered without prompting. But I do remember now.

My boss had me present the 12:30 meeting. He told me this at 12:35. I refuse to feel bad about anything I forgot to say. There's a reason I email him half an hour before every meeting to ask him what we need to do to prep. I mean, if I have to do anything, he should have told me by then, but I don't want to assume...

Ah, well. Need to get my oil changed at lunch. Change tracks of my brain.

Hey! Where does one get cushion pad (inner cushions, I just have the case) other than Ikea? Brick and mortar, I mean.

Certainly not in the doses anyone has given me. Dilaudid is supposed to be scary number times morphine? I don't even know. At the last ER visit someone the room over was getting it too, and them and the nurse were joking about how it was "the good stuff".

Hello jokes I can't make in a medical facility...

Much -ma for Burrell's sister.

Also for Jesse - sorry to hear about your grandmother (I have been behind in this thread all week).

I'm sorry, Burrell. Fuck cancer. There is more ammunition available to keep even advanced disease at bay, sometimes for years. (Of course, I am personally invested in that theory.)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Huh. I had IV Dilaudid once for a gall bladder attack, and the nurse told my husband he might as well leave to go get some lunch because I would be knocked out in a minute. He left (which was fine: go eat!) and I don't know what dosage they gave me, but the pain stopped and I just felt...cozy. I watched some Cake show on TV, never even got sleepy and I was hooked up for an hour.

The morphine drips I had after...three operations? made me stoned as hell and I was in and out, or asleep. Made me itch, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Many of the "new" doctors and nurses I get have never administered more than 2mg of dilaudid. Get someone who works with bones and joints (not osteopathic, but I'm blanking on the right word)and they'll push six with their eyes closed and go for a cig break.

I am, as they say, not opiate naive. Morphine will make me see double if I take enough orally (that might have been more than the prescribed dose...), but that's the only impact I've had from it. No pain relief, no sleepiness, no depressed breathing. Just an inability to read up close.

But sometimes it takes 12mg of dilaudid to make the pain stop, so there is that.

This [link] makes me break out in aromantic hives.

I'm gonna go change me oil.

This [link] makes me break out in aromantic hives.

I thought it was a link to a drug, since Strix said morphine made her itch.

But the actual link...I am just going O_o. (Asking your date if she took any hot men home with her is "flirting"? Really? SO HAPPY TO BE OFF THE DATING MARKET. [Note to the universe: please don't kill Tim before he gets home. Or after. Kthxbai.])
