My current lease is up April 4th, so I should get my renewal notice around February 4th. But the rumor is that my apartment is one of the last that hasn't been upgraded, so they may not offer me renewal. Which means I'd have to find a new place and move in a couple of months. I kinda want to ask them now if I'll get a renewal offer or not.

I've been here 5 years with no problems. I'd love to stay through May 2015 (when CJ graduates). I don't know anyone in the office - the turn over there is crazy high. The only guy I know is our maintenance guy. He usually knows the scoop on the general stuff - like how many people are moving in/out and what is going on with the renovations, which is helpful but not for this specific situation.
I may get brave and go ask. If we do have to move, CJ and I will have to have the place all packed before our Spring Training trip and start moving as soon as we get back. It would be nice if I could get a jump on that process.
