For now I just need to focus on her immediate recovery, so that's what I'm going to try to do. There will be at least one more surgery, and then there will be other treatments, but we will cross those bridges when we come to them.
(Not that I don't always like you.)

Well I am growing my hair out, so it is possible.
I know I want a full skirt and something like I would wear to my own wedding, because I am betting I don't have one. BUT, I think there is going to be dancing outside afterwards and NYC in June can be HUMID, so I am thinking cotton rather than just getting a vintage wedding dress. Then then I am thinking of a color, because white looks not great on me. so maybe a cotton with some weight and sheen to it. Maybe a brown or a reddish pink or a giant floral or navy.
Shit, Burrell, I'm so sorry. I've been thinking of you often ever since your sister's first surgery, even if I haven't been around here much to say it. Wishing lots of strength to your sister, and you, and your whole family.
