Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congrats, Scrappy! That's fantastic!

That cat habitat is amazing.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That kind of success is the best kind of revenge, Scrappy.

Meanwhile I had a phone-screen interview yesterday that went really well. Fingers crossed that this is at least the start of the tide turning jobwise for me.

That's great, Scrappy! I forget--are you on LinkedIn? I do hope you'll update your listing, so everyone (especially former employers) can share in your happiness. And apologies if we connected there ages ago. I can never keep track of things on that site. But I do get an email when my connections there announce promotions.

Improved job hunt~ma, Theodosia!

hip deep in pie

Yay Scrappy!

Good luck Theo. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I am up and dressed but I can't find the werewithal to leave the house. I am suffering from the coffee conundrum. I need to go get coffee, but I need the coffee to get me going.

Congrats, Scrappy & good luck, Theo!

It's an indication of the stage I am in in life that I'm excited to go to a hardware store today to buy a moisture alarm and hopefully a rubber mat for my workbench to rest on. And I don't mean that in a bad way. It's just funny.

But first, market, in the drippy balmy 40s°. After the temps last week...

Rainy 40s feels real good to me!

I am just slightly envious of that workbench, sarameg. Slightly.

... I didn't know they made moisture alarms. I should look into getting one.

(Having a house means never having to ask, 'Whatever will I do with this lovely pile of money?')

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Nothing says "it's time to get up" quite like the weather radio.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

yawn. I am at work. my week to have Sat duty. got here just after 6 and will be done in probably another hour. I know it would make sense, since I am already up, to have a productive Sat, but I think I will just go back to sleep. My legs ache something ridiculous, due, I expect, to the weather this week. fuckin muscles.
