Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yeah, but nifty! I am often financially irresponsible in the face of shiny gadgets.
I hate CFLs. I have a halogen bulb in one of my living room lamps, and it's good; the light is very much like an incandescent, but a little whiter. LED lights are good too. I'm still bitter that I can't buy 75-watt incandescents anymore.
BTW, this 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is delish. This one I didn't buy because I liked the label - it's a Muir-Hanna which probably means I bought it at a fundraiser involving John Muir's House, although I do tend to pick them up whenever I see them because (a) the John Muir connection and (b) I trust them to taste good. Muir-Hanna Amberglow is my quintessential fall wine.
I'm lazier than the rest of you. I slow cook a bunch of one dish meals in huge ass quanties over the course of a few days, divided them into two person portions, and freeze them. I end up cooking dinner four (in larges quantities) to six days a month, Actual dinner I heat is just heating up my homemade frozen in the microwave. Anyone who can beat me for laziness when it comes to dinner is rich enough to eat out a lot or has a high tolerance for non home-made frozen dinners.

Hahahah! My "dinner" tonight has been: leftover pretzel chips, dried apples, and a candy bar.
Lunch was an apple and cheese (*presliced* cheese, even, from trader joe's).
I actually do that a lot - 6 servings per recipe divided into half-pint mason jars. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I just have this steak burning a hole in my freezer tonight - I have over a week's worth of food ready to be heated up or eaten cold right now.
ETA: the "bread" I am eating right now: baked last July

You are working off a different definition of "lazy" than I am! Signed, woman who is microwaving a pre-made frozen tuna casserole for dinner.
That is either a tuna casserole you made, in which case you are doing exactly what I do, or a frozen one you bought, in which case you are demonstrating the tolerance I mentioned.
Dinner was a "Thai" chicken wrap(I don't see what's particularly Thai about crunchy noodles and sesame dressing), potato chips and Pepsi. Quick airport dining at its finest....
Meanwhile, I managed to lose an earring and I have no idea where on when it happened. Kind of a bummer as the earrings were from a craft person I haven't seen in years, and have no contact info for.
