Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I do too.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

He's in NY and working with Edward Jones.

Ooh! If you find out the next time they bring him in to St. Louis for training, I'll make sure to say hi.

Because books.

I've never had panna cotta! Even after all these years watching Top Chef.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hey there folks! I am all alone in my hotel room and wishing I had made plans to meet up with local buffistae today. But I didn't know how things would work out! Plane was on time and went fine. Ride into the city from the airport? Took 2 hours. And my friend who arrived an hour after me spent another hour on the tarmac, so not sure when she'll get here.

But other than being hungry, I have to say that Chicago is a lovely city.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Amazingly civilized (to somebody in United States) Dutch sex education. [link]

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh Burrell, I didn't read that until I was on the train or I would've stayed downtown.

Teppy, did you work on a magazine called Blood? A dude on the train is reading it!

brillig

I'm guessing Blood isn't a Goth magazine? How disappointed some people must be.

I did not, but I always wanted to, just for the name.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I wish I hadn't quit piano lessons (or can I blame it on my parents for letting me quit? hmmm) and I really wish we had a piano now. I would love to play now.

Me, too, exactly. I did well, and then I decided I hated it and Mom let me quit. Now I wish I hadn't.

I still startle people with how emphatically I speak--I frequently come off as intimidating

I know that I sometimes come across as intimidating, but I've never really known why. I wonder if this has something to do with it.

I have wanted to do nothing but sleep or stare at telly for three days. I blame the weather.

Okay, I still from time to time read one wedding blog, because it has a lot of posts about married life and life in general. But also wedding stuff, because it's a wedding blog. Only now it's entertaining for me to read, because I don't have to deal with that shit ever again!

Anyway, I was reading a post with questions from readers about picking your bridal party, and one reader wondered if 9 (on just her side) was too many.

The very first comment was "I think nine is a nice number because then they can be your Nazgul."

AWESOME.
