Crap. Just spoke with the surgeon. The surgery itself went fine, but ultimate prognosis is less rosy. Tumor has already returned. I am pretty bummed right now.

My doctor has scheduled me for an epidural tomorrow, in order to relax the muscles in my neck & shoulder.
I didn't realize they could do an epidural for neck/shoulder. Will you be numb from the neck down?
