I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.

Think of the puppy cams as practice for the Puppy Bowl. Which is a big part of my TV year.

Aw, you guys. Gracie died late last night. She had a good 20-year or so run, and spent her last couple of hours in my lap being stroked.

I am not actually sure what to do now? I haven't had a pet die at home before when we didn't have a yard.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Awww, kitty. I'm sorry, Brenda. Maybe call your vet's office and see if they have a place they inter pets? (If you don't want her cremated so you can keep the ashes.)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, I'm sorry, Brenda.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Aw Brenda. I'm so sorry.

On a practical note, (spoiler fonted so you can get to it later if you want) My vet had her cremated. Or you can just wrap her in something and freeze her until you can take her to an appropriate yard.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Right. A pet hospital will take care of it for you. I'm sorry, Brenda.

Yes, when we found Rupert dead at home, we took him to the vet for cremation the next day. They were very kind. So very sorry -- 20 years is an extraordinary run.

Right now she's in a basket wrapped in a blanket on the deck. I will take her into my vet once I have a chance to talk to my sister and see if she wants to come see her first. (Kitten Gracie was an Xmas present to my sis way back when she was in middle school. She'll be 34 this spring.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm so sorry, brenda.
