So far, my favorite picture in that group from the article is of Mayor Jerry Springer.
I think it's nice that he and his hair could get time away from fronting REO Speedwagon.

I remember getting about one snow day a year back in Alpena, MI. I don't recall any days off for cold. But then, it's in northern lower Michigan, so just about everyone had warm outerwear, even if it took a coat drive or other charity to make it happen. With snow starting in November and often lasting until the end of March, winter wear really was a life or death need.
Timelies all!
Sorry about the kitties, Fred.
re: emergency child care
We have one here called Kidspark. It's not super close, but it is an option, which is awesome.
am still at work. we are still shipping. it is well passed dark. and tomorrow and Thursday are both gonna be long days. did not think I'd be getting overtime this early in the year. trying to find the bright side.
YAY overtime!
That sounds like a long day, msbelle.
I'm getting over time for my 3 days of PD, essentially. Today was intriguing and we are done with the project, but I still have one day to go.
Interestingly one teacher team was playing music while they were working. It was a little presumptous in a room of 10 other teams.
yep. not as long as the drivers who were still there when I left. 8 - 7:15 with half an hour for lunch and not leaving the office. I do not want to do that too many days in a row.
That's a lot of overtime. At least you get paid?
I hope you get paid the OT msbelle.
I was looking at my year end paystub and realized that almost 10% of my pay in 2013 was OT pay. That works out to about 220 hours of OT. I better get a darned good raise.
PSA: the bulldog puppies are all passed out flat on their backs with their chunky little legs in the air. Mama's not in much better state.
