I fixed a broken chair leg (they make metal mending brackets just like I imagined for fixing this! IN BRASS! Better than I imagined! I was so excited in the hardware store, it was ridic) and three loads of laundry this weekend and no sewage line stoppages.
Now it is foggy and warm enough that the ice in everyone's downspouts is melting and crashing down with a great degree of cat-alarming frequency. Hopefully they get free enough (mine was solid ice yesterday) to make it through the next big freeze. Brought the borrowed ladder inside.
Also, not sneezing. This is HUGE. It might've been the chlorine in the pool (it's been too high since thursday at least, but much better tonight) and the weather, I don't know. I'm just glad my eye is no longer puffy and pouring out tears. It was almost pinkeye puffy, but not pinkeye.
Hooray for flowing sewage line and not sneezing!
Now they are nursing and their little back legs are going flippity flippity flip.
Oooh, coolness. Jesse, not sure if this is something you might find useful, but. Cool camping photos from UVM in the early 1900s.

Well shit. the dangers of having my iPad beside my bed. I woke up, checked my email, and there was one from the OPCW. They're going to request hiring
another
in the same position, and would I be interested in being considered? They're not offering me anything right now. But it's a possibility again. What a roller coaster.
Sue, that's a roller coaster I'd like to try. They clearly thought highly of you!
Weather, man. The snow is basically sublimating into the air it's so warm, which means low-hanging fog everywhere. And then tonight it's supposed to drop to something ridiculous like -8?
Good luck, Sue!
Craaaaaaaaamps. Joy. Simultaneously pukey and hungry.

That's what happened here yesterday/last night. Crazy fog, and now it's 0. Working from home FTW today, man.
