I use coconut oil for lotion all the time, and it absorbs in right away for me. But my absolute favorite moisturizing product is Bee Magic.

I've simmered through 3 kettles of water and my kitchen windows aren't even fogging and it is 11 out (they sometimes do when I have a lot of dishes.) Found my penguin humidifier and turned it on in my bedroom, stupid mineral powder dusting bedamned.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
I use baby oil, which I slather on last thing in the shower, then turn off the water. It doesn't get me oily and it saves my extremely dry skin.

Yeah, it becomes a solid below 73 degrees F, so it would clog the drain when it cooled! I stand on a towel or bathmat to put it on.
Doesn't baby oil in the shower make the tub slippery?

You guys, I have a THREE YEAR OLD today! Who is vehemently denying that she is three, and will not do even one goddamn thing herself because the stress of being the birthday girl is just too much, poor noodle.
The little blizzard yesterday left us with some great sledding snow today, so that's what we did all morning. Birthday girl is napping now, and in an hour I have to take Dylan to soccer. And at some point I promised Aeryn strawberry cupcakes.
