Jesse - I have the flip side. Today is my last day of vacation. The next payperiod starts tomorrow and if I work part of the weekend, next week will be much smoother.
Though I have to say, working only 18 hours over the last two weeks - has been pretty nice.
I've had a crapload of time off! Just most of the days have been at least partially full of Stuff. Good stuff, even, but stuff.
If I'm very lucky, I will be as happy as this greyhound maybe once this year.

I made it to the gym! Sat in what they seem to call a Jet Spa for 10 minutes, hit the steam room, and then the sauna. My calves are slightly less achy, we will try running again tomorrow. Fitting in three runs a week is clearly going to be a challenge. And the receptionist caught that my card wasn't actually linked to my membership, so that's fixed.
And for my treat, I'm thinking a second glass of wine with the last of my potato tortilla. And Elementary.
Last night's Elementary? It was pretty good. But I have a narrative weakness for a thing the show did, so I'm not objective.
Oh my god. I have windburn all over my face, my nose is chapped, my lips are chapped and split and I have a contact rash rubbing on my neck. And I think the sneezies are from super dry air + chlorine at the pool just being Too Much for my sinuses to handle. I got them a little outside today, but after the pool? Whoa.
I'd just like to marinate in lotion.
