I'm hoping Thursday/Friday to get some organizational/onerous work done. Fingers crossed no new fires popped up over the holidays that I will need to deal with.

I had an 11-1 slot (I groused about that when I scheduled last monday.) At 1 I got a call saying it would now be 5-8. Went swimming, worked, waiting.
And yes, it is nuts and the warranty company will get an earful, when I get a hold of them (will also be emailing them.) I didn't have the patience to sit on hold today. 24 hr service needs to be just that.
If the harmonica player at Target hadn't lost for me, someone at Burbank airport's ringtone would have lost me LDB. Ho, ho, no.

I lost LDB yesterday when I finally sat down and watched the Sing-Off finale. (They did the LDB/Peace on Earth medley) At least it was after Xmas...
I had a warranty co - and got screwed by the plumber - who after taking everything apart and turning off the water - said the job will be more. I paid -then after no satisfaction from the home warranty co - I went to my real estate person. and got my money back

Yeah, that's one thing I worry about, though they have to negotiate everything through the HW, HW presents me w/cost for additional work. Also, similar situation in that I still have a good relationship with my real estate agent, and she's a top performer AND the company is pretty damned big, so there is leverage there.

They snaked it again, it's clear, but it is happening 75' out- city side. And no exterior cleanout drain. Which means $75 a pop under warranty and seriously need to consider ponying up for an exterior cleanout drain. Fuck me.
