Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

They didn't even buddy-tape it! And they gave me a slipper-thingie with Velcro straps. Tomorrow the plan is to talk to a podiatrist and figure out if there's anything more I can/should do.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good plan.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm looking for a new belt for my dad, but I'm not sure how. He's in need of a new tooled belt that accepts various belt buckles, and I don't know the term for that. Any thoughts?

ETA: Snap Belt seems to be the key word. If I was a gal who tucker her shirts in, I'd totally want one. Dad got an actual Western buckle for Christmas, instead of the absolutely geeky Hubble telescope one he's been wearing. Like, how is there a market for that besides my dad? "Into western wear and astronomy? Here's the buckle for you!".

For the record, flying squirrels are really cute. Google Alabama flying squirrel and that's textbook.

I think I'm better with unpacking other people's stuff than I am packing of any variety. I like creating order and I don't like being packed.

I have patched 4 holes in Noah's pants (with the monster mouths he likes). I would like for him to stop wearing his pants out at the knees.

Because books.

My mom bought Sara a pair of Gap jeans in September (very much on sale) and she's worn out one knee. For what Gap jeans cost, I thought they would last a little longer. I'm not sure if she's going to go for a patch, but if not, she's looking at Target jeans.

I'm patching Grace's pants with hearts or balloons. She is not as rough on her knees as Noah is.

The best pants for Noah are the lands end reinforced knees but I can never find the jeans in his size.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Yikes, Theo! May you knit swiftly.

I bought my cats some crinkly aluminum and feather toys to discourage Molly from batting their water dish all over the apartment, and she is now busily chasing one and growling to herself. I think she's freaked Jackson out; he opted for hiding rather than playing with his own toy.
