Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I think when we do it here, we're doing it On Purpose. And that is self-selected.

I slept 10 hours last night. Which is great for me! But I wish they had started a little sooner. In the end, it doesn't matter since my parents went to see my aunt in the hospital. (I mean, I could have gone with them, but it's fine that I didn't.)

On the apartment, it is downstairs from my parents. It's a nice 2-bedroom, and my mother will charge me less than I am paying now for a small 1-bed. But still way more than my grandmother was paying! (I think there was some real estate implication if they didn't have a paying tenant down there, but she paid like $100 a month or something.) When everyone was healthy, they didn't necessarily see each other every day, so I think we could be fine with boundaries, AND it would help me help with my dad. Although that's really more of an issue before my mother retires, and she'll be retired before I move in there.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am much more likely to Pooh Case here, because it is a way to emphasize casual conversation when there is no facial expression/tone of voice to help.

Why is your mother charging you more?

When are you thinking of moving? Does this solve your lease problem?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She's charging me more, because I have a job! And she won't, pretty soon. So it's a good deal for both of us, and way easier than her trying to find the perfect tenant. I just started a year lease, so I have to give three months' notice to break it, which is actually kind of perfect. Gives us time to deal with my grandmother's stuff and redo the kitchen and possibly bathroom, etc. All that stuff hasn't been touched in 40 years, so it needs a lot of work! She does have newish floors in the main part of the apartment, which is good. I have been spending an embarrassing amount of time thinking about what needs to be done in the apartment over the past few months.

And now I'm off to the house.

Because books.

That's not embarrassing! It's where you're going to live for quite a while. I'd do the same.

There are no words for how much I loathe my job. Later, to Craigslist with me.

brillig

I saw a post on another board That Capitalized Every Word No Matter How Important It Was. How do you type like that? It slows everything down.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Amy, I hereby bequeath to you my ability to attract a new job without even looking, especially when one currently works in Hell.

I reluctantly got sucked into Duck Dynasty. It's worse than the Mafia--I can't get out.

Gud, unpossible that she is 14. Really.

sara, that would explain it. It would be a BFD if it was just the badge, but the gun? Especially with police ammunition loaded in the clip? All hands on deck. I'm sorry work didn't even give you fifteen minutes to enjoy the peace.

Because books.

I'm pretty sure I just managed to get myself into trouble at work, mostly by reminding the department head that I exist. Awesome.

I reluctantly got sucked into Duck Dynasty.

I'll go you one better -- I actually think Willie is sort of cute.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I would like to report that I am eating a muffin.

I am left assuming that "FML" stands for "Feed my llama".

Ha! It should!

So is Duck Dynasty scripted or "reality"?

Ann, that's a ferret.

I capitalize "random" words when I'm trying to imply something. Sort of a substitute for "if you know what I mean."
