I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

So, my plans for cooking all sorts of stuff this afternoon didn't work out, because I ended up taking a nap instead. Still feeling pretty groggy. No idea why, since I got a decent amount of sleep last night. I'll blame the snow.

My mood is slightly improving. There were a few moments here at work this morning where I thought I was in trouble for something yesterday AND I WAS GOING TO LOSE MY SHIT. But I do not think I am in any trouble, just everyone sick of the stupidness here at work.

Couldn't agree more!

I have 20ish more papers to grade this semester. THANK GOD!

Also, there is a ridiculous number of egg yolks in lemon curd.

Ugh. I am so sorry. Part of the issue with independence, it seems, is figuring out how much rope to give a kid.

Over half of my 1st and 2nd periods are failing, and my class is one of two grad requirements for my seniors.

he will be in tutoring now, 1 or 2 days after school. I need to figure out how bus service works for kids in tutoring for next year. I just wish that he would care, he does not.

OK, there is a limit to how casual I like customers to be when they're chatting with the people around them. Apparently a woman near her is breastfeeding. That's the most innocuous explanation I can come up with for her saying cheerfully, "Suck that boob, baby." The background noises certainly don't support anything more exciting.
