I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Worked for Green Bay, anyway.

Yeah, that was depressing to watch after the Saints implosion.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Thanks shrift, I actually have a series of those. I should make sure to listen to one tonight after work. Maybe today during lunch.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Well, yesterday was good and bad. Good because I went climbing and out to lunch with some old pals and had a great time catching up. Good also because I took my younger niece and a friend of hers out for drinks at a couple of hipster bars, which was great fun.

Bad because when I got home I found an email from a corporate recruiter saying that they didn't want to talk to me after all, they want someone with transportation experience.

ARGH.

Cool. I need to build time into my calendar for it, too. I'd listen over lunch, but I just looked at my calendar and I'm booked from noon to 3. Uh. Maybe I'll listen to one tonight before bed.

Because books.

Awe, I'm sorry, Consuela.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Just now:
Me: She said she's sending it via third party shipper, so don't open any [gift] packages, no matter what it looks like.
Bob bob: So it will look like a book, right?
Me: what?
Bob: well, it's from a 'shipper, right? So it will be a book about Batman fucking Picard or something?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hee!

YOU GUYS. I just put this on Facebook, but I cannot overemphasize what an ass I am: I ordered stuff online to be sent to my old job! The one with the awkward location! I hope a coworker can get them for me and I can meet up with her, but otherwise, I'm going to be taking a cab there and back over lunch tomorrow. Good times.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I ordered stuff online to be sent to my old job!

I've done that. (To our old office location, anyway.) Luckily the new tenants called me.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh no!

We just got a note reminding us that if we have personal packages shipped here, we have to go get them at the loading dock. I wish the UPS man just came to our specific offices like they have at other jobs.

I still remember when msbelle sent me cookies, back in my very early days where I was afraid to give out my email to internet strangers. My coworker tried to tell me that since they were sent to me at work, they were now property of the university. I think she just wanted to discourage packages being sent to work, but it is so odd!
